Lucia Celeste
These are the first pictures of our amazing daughter Lucia Celeste!
| Lucia's First Week Lucia surprised everyone, and decided she'd arrive a little early. Just a few days before she was born, me and Cristen, were at the local Irish pub. She was born at 5 lb. 8 oz. (2.49 kilograms) and spent her first week in the NICU. She had to stay there while learning to eat on her own and while she was there she got some of her food through a tube in her nose. The Holden NICU is very accomodating of parents and we managed to feed her, hold her and bathe her while she was there. |
| Lucia's Second Week Once Lucia learned to eat on her own, we could bring her home! The first trip was quite an adventure -- we had to learn how to use a carseat and dad had to drive more smoothly than usual. Lucia slept soundily through the whole adventure! Our friend, Susan Murray, helped us through Lucia's first day at home and took some our first family pictures. Later in the week, Grandpa and Grandma Willer came to visit! |
