SNIPPER

Snipper v1.2 (released 09/30/2011) is a program for quickly looking up information from public databases on genes near SNPs of interest.

Python version 2.6 or higher (but less than 3.0!) is required to run Snipper. If you don't already have Python installed, head on over to python.org and download the installer. Be sure not to download version 3.x, as this is a new and separate branch of Python that is not compatible with the 2.x versions.
