Interdisciplinary Group Seminar (IGS) 2006 - 2010

An Interdisciplinary Workshop Sponsored by the Rackham Graduate School

Faculty sponsors: Mike Boehnke, Ph.D. & Jun Li, Ph.D.

Postdoctoral representative: Nicole Scott

Graduate student coordinators: Jun Ding & Kaanan Shah

Our seminar provides an exciting new venue whereby a network of students, post-docs and faculty from complementary fields can share information about cutting-edge research in both intellectual and social settings. To increase the quality and productivity of research at the University of Michigan in the fields of Human Genetics, Population Genetics, Statistical Genetics, Statistics, and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, we seek to foster the development of interactions between the researchers of these complementary disciplines.

We have several interesting talks lined up! See our current list of scheduled seminars and their associated Happy Hours (below). Moreover, we are committed to bringing you the best possible interdisciplinary seminar. Comments, suggestions and general feedback are always welcome.

Help research to help others... support IGS!
