1. How can I install this software?

Please see Install page for details.

2. How long will it take to run an analysis? How much memory will it occupy?

On a shared Intel-based computer server running Red Hat Linux, HPeak takes about 20 minuts to analyze 5 - 1o million mapped reads for one sample analysis, and about an hour to analyze a pair of samples (treated versus control) each with 5-10 million mapped reads. Peak memory consumption is about 1G.
